Permanent. Pages are rasterized so text and images under redaction boxes are not left selectable or recoverable in the export.

Can I redact confidential PDFs without uploading?

Yes — that is the point. Sensitive documents stay on your device. There is no cloud upload and no file-size free-tier limit.

How many redactions can I apply?
